Miss Universe Bolivia 2010, Olivia Pinheiro

Olivia Pinheiro, Miss Universo Bolivia 2010, was finally allowed to represent Bolivia in Miss Universe 2011 pageant. Earlier this year, Olivia was found that she had aged out to compete in Miss Universe 2011. She was born in October 1983 which means she is turning 28 later this year. In January, her family reported that Olivia Pinheiro would not attend the Miss Universe pageant, but keep the crown of Miss Bolivia 2010. This statement was made when she was on vacation in Brazil and was questioned by a matter of age.


According to Bolivian media, the decision to allow Olivia Pinheiro to represent Bolivia in Miss Universe 2011 was made today by Gloria de Limpias, represent of Promociones Gloria. He also urged Bolivian to support the national representative. “We need to support Olivia,” he said to journalists at the press conference.

Pinheiro, who stands 1.74 m (5 ft 8 1⁄2 in) tall, competed as Miss Santa Cruz against 18 other delegates in her country's national pageant, Miss Bolivia, held in Santa Cruz de la Sierra on August 26, 2010, where she became the eventual winner of the title and was crowned by outgoing titleholder Claudia Arce, gaining the right to represent Bolivia in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant, to be broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.


Winners of Miss Bolivia 2010, Olivia Pinheiro, Maria Teresa Roca and Yovana O'Brien (photo above) will crown their respective successors at the end of the competition.

The Beauty Queen of Miss Universo Bolivia ( or Miss Bolivia Universe 2011) will represent Bolivia in Miss Universe 2012 next year. ( Olivia Pinheiro will compete in this year, Miss Universe 2011 )

While the winner of Miss Mundo Bolivia ( or Miss Bolivia World ) will competing in Miss World 2011 beauty contest on November 6 in London, UK.

And Miss Tierra Bolivia ( or Miss Bolivia Earth ) will enter Miss Earth 2011 pageant to be held in Pattaya, Thailand on December 3.
